Chillaxin': Alesha Dixon soaks up the sun on Miami Beach yesterday as she relaxes before this Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing final


The Strictly Come Dancing final might only be two days off but one judge's thoughts couldn't be further away from it.

Several thousand miles away in fact, as Alesha Dixon relaxed on Miami Beach in Florida yesterday.

The judge and pop star was in the Florida city this week to film her new music video.

But the shoot wrapped and ready for the editing suite, it was time for the 32-year-old to take some time out for herself.

Alesha showed off her stunning figure in a daring cutaway swimsuit - but modestly kept her denim hotpants on - as she larked about on the sand, dancing, and playing volleyball.

She was joined by the boys from The Fairground, who describe themselves as a 'collective of super-producers and writers giving you the best in free-style music'.

The singer jetted into Miami on Sunday to film the video for her new song Every Little Part of me, which features British R&B star Jay Sean, taken from her album The Entertainer.

She filmed the video on Monday and has spent the remainder of her time enjoying some winter sun, although the following day she was seen getting into a taxi at her hotel in a thick jumper, leather jacket, scarf and gloves.

Yesterday she took to her Twitter page and wrote: 'Just woke up! It's afternoon here in miami. Video shoot was so much fun! I love @jaysean and my @The_Fairground boys! So supportive'

And he returned the compliment on his page and said: 'Had so much fun with @AleshaOfficial and @The_Fairground boys. Will miss them all.'

And before she jets back to the UK for Saturday's Strictly final, she wrote last night: 'Going to chill for 2 days, read, run, and party! Whoop whoop :)'

She will join her fellow judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revell Horwood on Saturday for the long-awaited final of the BBC One Show.

The remaining three celebrity contestants are actress Kara Tointon, 27, TV presenter Matt Baker, 32, and comedian-turned-psychologist Pamela Stephenson.

All three will perform four dances each and will also welcome back the return of eliminated celebrities such as Ann Widdecombe and Paul Daniels, who will dance in a group performance.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2010 final airs this Saturday on BBC One at 7pm.
