10 Hot Babes Dressed in Star Wars Outfits

Star Wars is perhaps the most socially accepted of all the many faces of geekdom. It’s also George Lucas’s never-ending paycheck. The original 1977 blockbuster captured a generation’s imagination and has since spawned cartoons, prequels, books, comics, games and endless toys. Even sticky tape dispensers and underwear have borne the Star Wars stamp of approval. But – and I’m quoting classical Greek philosopher Plato here: “Not everything is rosy on Tatooine.” For many fans, the release of The Phantom Menace was a disappointment and Lucas came to be seen as some kind of money-hungry sci-fi overlord surrounded by sniveling sycophants. Purists point to creations like Jar Jar Binks as indications of where the be-quiffed one went wrong with the franchise… Some even say that the true Star Wars is frozen in carbonite. While it’s true that Lucas may have strayed from the path of genius and Jar Jar Binks is undoubtedly awful, there are still many things to celebrate about the franchise. One is them is hot women in skimpy costumes. If Star Wars is your thing then these are most definitely the droi– I mean – ladies you’re looking for.

10) Kelly Brook – Leia Homage

The costume may not be the most accurate (if it were, Kelly would take our number one spot hands down!) but International lady of magnificence Kelly Brook made more than a few pulses quicken earlier this year (2010) when she posed for Total Film magazine in a series of homages to some of the most iconic bikini scenes in cinema’s history.
A bronzed Brook echoed Carrie Fisher’s Return of the Jedi outfit saying: “I don’t know why you wanted me to wear this Princess Leia outfit… but whatever; I’ll dress up like that if you want me to.” Yes, Kelly, yes we do.
Another schoolboy’s fantasy, Raquel Welch’s fur bikini from One Million Years BC, was also included.

9) Adrienne Curry – Imperial Officer

She won the first series of America’s Next Top Model, plays World of Warcraft naked and, happily for SW fans, likes to indulge in a spot of saucy cosplay now and then. Here she is as an Imperial Officer who no doubt makes PVC fetishists’ hearts race. It hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the Playboy model, though, as she was groped by a lusty sci-fi fan at 2010’s Orlando Star Wars convention.

8) SithVixen – Femtrooper

Stormtroopers are iconic of the Star Wars universe. The black and white armor has become some of the most recognizable imagery in science fiction cinema. As a regular face at conventions across the US, and with her adapted armor, SithVixen could well be a poster girl for the evil Galactic Empire’s recruiting department.
SithVixen says she designs and replicates costumes as a way of self expression, and that: “There is a bit of work involved but it pays off; guys love boob armor.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

7) Unknown Hotness – Boba Fett

I don’t know who she is and I’ve no idea what lurks beneath the helmet (hopefully not a bantha) but anyone that makes Boba Fett’s bounty hunting get-up look sexy warrants an inclusion. Snapped at 2010’s San Diego Comic-Con International, the outfit echoes SW fan Victoria Hoke’s campaign for Boba Fett to be revealed as having been female all along. Well, whatever the truth is behind the mystery mercenary, this buxom Boba can fall into my Sarlacc Pit anytime. Okay that made no sense.

6) Lucy Fur – C-3PO

Who’d have thought the shuffling gold protocol droid would stake a place in a list of feminine loveliness? Well, burlesque performer Lucy Fur’s portrayal of the stuffy translator at The Devil’s Playground’s Star Wars shows in Los Angeles certainly helps.
It’s safe to say that Threepio never looked better, and her lack of clothes is not disturbing. I wonder if Anthony Daniels wore nipple tassels, too…

5) Courtney Black – Darth Talon

Body painting artist Mark Greenawalt, costume makers 501st Legion AZ and alluring model Courtney Black combined to realize this vibrant portrayal of Darth Talon, a Sith Twi’lek who featured in the Star Wars: Legacy comic book series written by John Ostrander.
Greenawalt (a man who, incidentally, might have one of the best jobs on the planet) says it took approximately two hours to complete the design and get Courtney into costume, complete with every man’s favorite prehensile appendage turn on: braintails*!
*Or ‘Lekku’ if you want to get technical.

4) Amanda Rose – Padmé Amidala Skywalker

Star Wars fan Amanda Rose models exclusively for Dark Star Photography and deservedly gets a place here as a saucily ripped Padmé. Photographer Chris Hutchison explained that exotic beauty Rose is a huge fan of Padmé and Leia and, indeed, bugged him for weeks about doing a photo shoot themed around their characters. So they mocked up a costume in six hours and snapped away.
And there’s good news for fans of the half-Polish, half-Chinese Rose as there are plans afoot for another shoot featuring her as Princess Leia, in both white gown and slave incarnations. Phew!
Dark Star Photography have also done Mass Effect 2, Darkstalkers and Tomb Raider cosplay shoots to name but a few.

3) Olivia Munn – Leia Organa (Solo)

When compiling a list such as this it is inevitable that most of the candidates will be dressed as Leia Organa. Not just Leia, but specifically Slave Leia. They are everywhere. At conventions there are so many voluptuous ladies clad in brass swimwear that you sometimes have to beat them off with a fake lightsaber just to make it to the toilets alive. But then, there are far worse things to be surrounded by.
One of the hottest incarnations of the golden bikinied one has to be Olivia Munn. I’m sure you’ll agree that the multi-talented model, actress and G4 TV presenter lives up to every budding Han Solo’s dream, and thankfully, there’s no Jabba to spoil the view.

2) Courtney Cruz – Stormtrooper

Surprisingly, another of the Galactic Empire’s elite foot soldiers makes it into the list. Alternative model, burlesque performer and all-round hotness, Courtney Cruz founded The Devil’s Playground that (also features Lucy Fur as C-3PO, above, and) produces Star Wars themed burlesque shows.
The Californian lovely performed a routine to Belgian electronic music-meisters Front 242′s club hit ‘Headhunter’. Her Stormtrooper costume, designed by Carlos Flores, is impressively detailed. Never has a merciless killing machine been so kissable.

1) Kristen Bell – Leia Organa (Solo)

In what is surely the pinnacle of her career, Veronica Mars actress Kristen Bell featured in 2008 comedy film Fanboys in a role that saw her dress up as everyone’s favorite Jabba-strangling slave girl, Princess Leia. The movie revolves around a circle of geeks (a group of which is termed ‘a Roddenberry’) that plan and execute a mission to break into Skywalker Ranch and steal a not-yet-released copy of The Phantom Menace for their terminally ill friend. The photos released of Bell in costume helped to generate a lot of male attention for the movie across the internet.
Since 1983, Carrie Fisher’s costume has gained a fanbase of its very own and it is now the go-to outfit for any self-respecting sci-fi sexypants or come-hither cosplay aficionado. There are usually so many re-creations of the famous outfit that conventions often hold ‘group Leia’ photographs. Bell certainly seems to have something that appeals to the wispy-bearded denizens of geekdom as she was voted 4th sexiest woman on television by the comic-loving magazine Wizard. We don’t know about you, but she’s the hottest rebel scum we’ve seen for a while.
Are there any we’ve missed? Feel free to link your own Star Wars cosplay excellence. Of course, an honorable mention goes to Jennifer Aniston.
