Broody Brand: Russell shows off his parenting skills taking a little fan for a ride during visit to children's hospital

Daddy-in-the-making: Russell Brand showed off his parenting skills as he took one patient from an L.A. children's hospital report for a ride


If these pictures of anything to go by, we could be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet very soon in the Brand-Perry household.

Funnyman Russell Brand certainly seemed broody as he played with little ones at a children’s hospital in L.A. yesterday.

The 35-year-old comedian showed off his parenting skills which saw him lift one little man onto his shoulders and take him for a ride during his visit.

Ensuring the little boy was safely sat on his shoulders he walked around cautiously with his arm held protectively on the little boy’s back.

In fact, the pair, who were wearing matching striped t-shirts made for an adorable sight as they made their way around the hospital grounds outside.

And Russell’s passenger certainly seemed to be enjoying the ride as he smiled and joked as Russell pointed out things for him to see, seemingly able to make children laugh as easily as he does adults.

So with things going so swimmingly with Russell and wife Katy Perry could a child be next on the cards?

Last year singer Katy hinted that there might well be a new arrival on the way in future on Twitter.

In September the 25-year-old posted: ‘Congratulations Rusty Rockets on your new book (out today in the UK!) NEXT book: The double d’s: Dishes and Diapers’…hehehe.’

But their plans for a family will likely be on hold with Katy’s California Dreams Tour kicking off in March in the UK.

And with the second leg stretching right through to the end of the year it will no doubt be next year before the couple even think starting their own brood.

But with the whirlwind romance which saw them marry in October little over a year after first meeting, they are certainly not a pair to stall when they have made up their mind.

And judging from these photos one half of the couple is clearly keen.
